The Partnership Access Line (PAL) is a telephone based mental health consultation system for children and developmentally disabled adults. PAL was designed to assist medical providers and is funded by the state legislature and the Wyoming Department of Health. Child and adolescent psychiatrists and social workers affiliated with Seattle Children’s Hospital and University of Washington deliver its consultation services. The PAL team is available to any primary care provider or mental health specialist throughout Wyoming.

Wyoming’s care providers are encouraged to call the PAL toll free number
877-501-7257 as often as they would like. PAL provides rapid consultation responses during business hours (M-F, 9-6) for any type of child mental health issue that arises with any child or developmentally disabled adult.

*For holiday closure hours, please reference the FAQ section of this website.

What does a provider get by calling PAL?

  • Immediate phone advice from an expert

  • Free tools to help you and your patient (like patient advice handouts, rating scales, local resource lists tailored to your patient, etc.)

Feedback

“I am so grateful for your service! I am only a mid-level and have only been treating adolescents for four months. I am the only local provider who will treat these kids. Otherwise, families have to either do telepsych or travel out of town about 250 miles (one way!) Thank you so much!!”

“This program is very helpful.”
